Renovations

After so many miles the engine was starting to show its age. So out it came and off to Classic and Modern in Bracknell.

This gave us time to sort out the engine bay which hadn’t been looked at since we got the car.

Old thrust bearing was a bit graunchy. Sounded like a pepper grinder.
Lots of cleaned up shiny bits
Cleaned up injector barrels
New engine mounts and painted brackets
Centre H frame recovered
New water pump and manifold
Polishing the throttle bodies.
