Keanes Of Curraheen to Caifé na Trá via Dunquin Pier

4.9Keep right onto the R560 (don’t go left onto the N86)
20.3Connor Pass. Well worth stopping for the views
24.7Dingle. Turn left onto John St then immediately right into The Mall
24.9At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto The Tracks (R559)
25Turn left onto Slea Head Drive / Strand Street (R559)

On the left keep an eye for a statue of long-time harbour resident Fungie the dolphin.
25.7Take the first exit off the roundabout onto R559
25.9Turn right onto the R559 to Murreagh (An Mhuirioch)
31.2In Murreagh turn left at T-junction to continue on the R559 (Slea Head Drive)
40.8Turn right onto (L8047) towards Blasket Ferr
41.8Arrive Dunquin Pier. Here should be the Cupán Sé coffee hut, Spanish Armada Memorial, Wild Atlantic Way discovery point, Slea Head rocks and Dunquin pier!

42.6If no coffee at Dunquin Pier stop at Caifé na Trá on the right for equally spectacular views

Caifé na Trá to Inch Beach

11.6Just over the causeway, turn right at the roundabout onto Slea Head Drive / Strand St (R559)
12.3Turn right onto The Tracks (R559)
12.4At the Roundabout take the third exit onto Bóthar an Phoist (N86) towards Trallee and Killarney
12.6At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N86 (go straight on).
22.6Turn right onto R561 towards Castlemaine and Inch Beach
26.8Inch beach

This will be a very short stop. And if inclement we may not stop at all.

Inch Beach to The Fishery

We had coffee in the hotel across the bridge waiting for Jeff in 2018 after he had got lost. Again.

13.3Round to the right and then keep left on to The Hahah (N71)


Lots of spectacular views on the N71. Probably worth stopping if we have the time.

This is Moll’s Gap. A little way down the road is where we will arrive after doing the Gap of Dunlow in two days.
